Bo-jutsu - The bo is a staff of hard wood about 5-6 feet long, about one inch (2.5 cm.) in diameter, and slightly tapered at the ends. It was originally used as a tool to carry loads and also served as a fighting tool when the occasion demanded.

Sai-jutsu - The iron weapon sai, which in older days officials used to arrest criminals and to hold back crowds, was actually invented to defend againts attacks from swords, bo, nunchaku or tuifa.

Tuifa - Tuifa a refers to two pieces of rectangular hard wood, each about 16 inches (40 cm.) long, with a grip attached.
